If you haven't caught up with it yet, today's the day to catch all three parts of Joss Whedon's online musical Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, with Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, and Felicia Day.
It gets off to a slow start but it's witty, glorious, and sweet. After tomorrow it'll be taken down and you'll have to pay to see it in one form or another - iTunes or DVD. I've seen it online and the thought running through my mind was that I'll probably buy the disc and watch it again, 'properly'.
Maybe it's just me, but I find that watching online content is like eating a sandwich grabbed on the run. And with anything that runs more than a minute, I start to feel like I'm being held up from all my other stuff.

I can't even get to it. I am not sure if it is the site being overloaded on the last day or my rubbishy broadband, but I got nothing but a few snatches over about 15 minutes and the legend "buffering" (not Buffying).
guess I'll have to wait for the DVD.
I also tried this alternative site to no avail http://www.whedon.info/Dr-Horrible-s-Sing-Along-Blog-Web,27128.html
I can only be utterly unhelpful and say that I just tried it from here and all three parts load and run with no problem... and you know the techno ins-and-outs of this stuff far better than I...
well i got through it in the end. it took about 2.5 hours.
i think it must be the broadband here, which is not unbundled and massively oversubscribed. i was able to run other things at the same time (such as download spybot 1.6) without affecting the poor quality in any way.
So, if direct to your house is the future of TV, then I'm stuffed!
